Partner Program Terms

How affiliate partners earn commission on the tickets they sell, and how and when it is paid.

Earning commission

You earn commission on tickets bought through your referral link for events that take part in the partner program.
Each event's host sets its commission rate. You see the rate next to every event in your partner dashboard.
Commission is a percentage of the ticket price. Service fees are not included.
Sales count once your payout account is ready (see below). Sales through your link before that do not earn commission.

Commission is paid into your own Stripe account. You set it up from your partner dashboard in a few minutes.
Stripe asks for your identity and bank details and keeps them. We never see your bank details.
If Stripe needs more information, payouts wait until it is complete.

The commission on an event's tickets is sent to your Stripe account the day after the event (Pacific time).
Stripe then pays your balance to your bank on its normal schedule, usually within a few business days.
If an event moves to a new date, its commission is paid the day after the new date.
Less than $0.50 from one host waits until there is more commission from that host.

Refunded tickets do not earn commission, and neither do the tickets of a cancelled event.
If a ticket is refunded after its commission was paid, that commission is taken back from your Stripe account.

When you turn on the partner program for an event, partners earn the rate you set on the ticket price of orders made through their links.
On payout day — the day after the event — their commission is taken from your Stripe balance and sent to them. You are paid the rest of the event's money as usual.
Refunded orders earn no commission. If an order is refunded after its commission was paid, the commission is taken back from the partner and returned to your Stripe balance.
By turning on the partner program for an event, you authorize these deductions from your Stripe balance.
